Community Choirs

Community choirs are a great place to enjoy singing with others and learn new songs. There is no need to audition and most do not require you to read music.

I am an experienced choir leader and love to work with community choirs. I helped to establish and was musical director for Cramond Community Choir for five years. We grew the choir to over 70 regular attendees, singing all kinds of material. Cramond Community Choir is still flourishing and has a waiting list.

I have also had experience of working with Sangstream (community choir specialising in traditional music), Edinburgh Gay Mens Chorus, Scots Music Group and Oxnam Valley Voices. Over 2016 and 2017 I was  involved in establishing a bespoke community choir for a theatre project in Eyemouth called Get up and Tie Your Fingers Eyemouth.
